Adding movement to the frame is a tool unique to cinematography. Take advantage of it.

• Keep in mind the concept of parallax and how it creates depth.
• Keep the camera stable when it’s meant to be stable.
• Remember that historically, feature films have used heavier cameras and the movements are fairly restrained.
• Use movement to express a character’s point of view or as a narrative device to reveal.
